Getting here
Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is located off I-70 at exit 147 in Gypsum, Colorado. The rental car counter is inside the terminal building — follow signs to "Rental Cars" after baggage claim.
From Vail: ~30 minutes west on I-70.
From Denver: ~2 hours west on I-70 (weather permitting).
From Aspen: ~2 hours via I-70 (Independence Pass closed in winter).

Seasonal tips
Winter (Nov – Apr): AWD/4WD strongly recommended. Vail Pass traction laws are frequently activated. We maintain all vehicles to meet Colorado traction law requirements.
Summer (May – Oct): Great conditions for exploring the White River National Forest, rafting on the Eagle River, and mountain biking in Vail. Economy cars work well in summer.
